Do you feel like you are doing everything right when it comes to your diet plan but you are still not seeing the results you thing you should be seeing?

The 3 Week DietThere are lots of people who find themselves in this position, not just you.

They might be working very hard on their approach to weight loss and even taking care to follow their diet plan.

However, they feel there is something that is not working. In fact the proof is that the scale just isn’t changing in the right direct and they aren’t getting the results they want.

So What Gives You Ask?

Often, the one big problem is not as a result of their effort or motivation. The problem is that they may be eating certain foods that are actually sabotaging their results. These foods are designed as fat loss foods but in reality they aren’t. Instead, they are holding you back from success.

What are these foods you might want to reconsider eating? Let’s go over three foods that you want to get out of your diet immediately.

Various Fruit Flavored Yogurts

Many people love eating fruit flavored yogurts. They are a favorite of choice of many dieters but little do they realize they are really eating a pint sized sugar bomb every time they eat a small carton.

Next time you are picking out your favorite fruit flavored yogurt, take a look at the sugar content. You are going to be surprised to see there are 15 or more grams of sugar per serving!

Of course you can always buy the sugar-free variety of fruit yogurts, but then you will be eating a number of potentially unwanted artificial sweeteners (chemicals), which can be just as bad for you if not worse for your health.

Instead, you might want to consider eating plain Greek yogurt. Just add your favorite fruit such as fresh berries and you will have less sugar calories and more nutrition.

So Called Fat-Free Products

Next up on the list of foods that you might want to get out of your diet plan are any food products that are considered to be ‘fat free’. These foods will often state that they are fat free on the label.

However, you need to consider that if the fat is removed, what was added? Something had to be added otherwise these just won’t taste very good.

The answer is very simple, it is in fact sugar. Sugar has often been added to these foods and as a result makes the food taste good so people will eat them. Just check the labels and you will see the amount of added sugar.

Just remember if your plan is to get rid of some body fat, sugar is just as bad, if not worse for your weight loss plan.

Protein Bars

Finally, the last food you might want to consider excluding from your diet are the so called protein bars. Protein bars may seem like a great choice since they contain some protein and you may be trying to get more protein into your diet.

However, you need to check the sugar content. A lot of protein bars have as much as 15 grams of sugar per bar. Some measure as high as 30 and 40 grams of sugar depending on the number of calories in a bar.

In actuality, these are really just glorified chocolate bars. It is true that you can buy some bars that keep their sugar content fairly low (five grams or less per bar), but you will need to hunt for those. You must need to be careful when buying these bars.
